Hello,

Well gilberts syndrome produces increased levels of bilirubin , but normally has no serious complications.Mild jaundice may appear under conditions of exertion, stress, fasting, and infections, but the condition is otherwise asymptomatic.

People having Gilberts syndrome do not generally need any treatment as they lead normal healthy lives but if you have noticed an increase in your jaundice you may contact your doctor.Phenobarbitone in small doses can sometimes help clear the jaundice. Usually no treatment is necessary. The focus is on making sure that no underlying condition is causing the jaundice, for instance hepatitis.

hopefully this helps

take care
