Hi,

Ringing in ears is called Tinnitus. It occurs due to the damage of hearing nerve in the inner ear.The advancing age is generally accompanied by a certain amount of hearing nerve impairment and tinnitus.

Tinnitus can be due to these causes-

Allergy, high or low blood pressure (blood circulation problems), a tumor, diabetes, thyroid problems,Medications like anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, sedatives, antidepressants, and aspirin. She may be requiring X-ray, Balance test,Lab work .

My advice is to consult otolaryngologist for clinical examination and management
