Dear Customer

After the medications dispensed from a pharmacy, the expering date will be indicated on the lable or one year. Thus, your medication is expired. You should call your pharmacy for refill. If there is no refill, your pharmacy will call your doctor.

I have been told that most meds had atleast a 5yr shelf life if not exposed to heat or cold.

When the pharmacy gets deliver from manufacturer, the expiring date is on original bottle, Many of them are as long as 5 year. The deliver and storage conditions are strictly controlled. However, after the medication dispensed, the storage conditions are unknown, that is why it is no more than 1 year. In future, when you get a medication from your pharmacy, you can ask the expiration date on the original bottle or you can ask the medications kept in original bottle if possible.
