My daughter was just told she has a mucus seal in her nose. What does that mean? Our Doctor is going to refer her to an ENT.
This is a pocket of mucus that is in her nasal passages and it is good they have referred her to an ENT so they can treat this and remove the pocket that is trapping the mucus and causing alot of allergy symptoms as well. In many cases removing the source of the symptoms can stop them from occuring so they do want to have her seen by an ENT to see if this can be treated or needs to be removed through simple surgery.
