1- an infectious process
2- a melanin disorder ( the over production of melanin (brown pigment), produce this lips and gums darkening )
3- and cardiovascular disorders, are accompanied by blood circulation deficit , with lack of oxygen in distal tissues . Many patients with cardiovascular disorders , only present light symptoms like : dark coloration of lips ,gums, and in other cases, the patients only present a dark coloration in their fingers or toes.
