There is no advantage for you to go for surgery for removal of cyst. Generally the recommendations are to follow up with periodical ultrasounds for cysts in kidney or liver.

Also the size of your cyst is not significant enough to be of any major concern. For years doctors have ignored these cysts without any complications. Occasionaly these may cause trace blood in urine but surgery is still not recommened for a cyst.
