Why does your tongue turn white when you are sick

Customer Question

I have been nauseated & vomiting and now my tongue is white

A white tongue is usually indicative of an over growth of the normal bacteria in the mouth. Your vomiting probably has enabled this over growth to occur. Try gargling with listerine or brushing your tongue gently with your tooth brush.
