Hi,

What is your height ?

Since how long are you having pain in your right eye ?

Any associated redness ?Discharge ?

Have you seen a eye specialist ?

Reply to Dr Amit Munjal's Post: im roughly 5'4. the pain in my eye has been occuring off and on since yesterday morning, i have no redness, discharge or any of the like and i havent been to see an eye specialist in quite some time

Hi,

I have calculated your BMI to be 41 .

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

This suggest you are obese .

Your RHR is within normal limits (60- 100) .

Your BP needs to be monitored .

As such pain in eye can be due to various causes and definetly needs to be seen by an eye specialist for further evaluation .

Causes of eye pain

Reply to Dr Amit Munjal's Post: i have sinusitis, is it possible that this could be the cause of my symptoms?
Expert:  Dr Amit Munjal replied 10 years ago.

Although sinusitis can be responsible for eye pain but it may not cause eye sensitivity to light especially in one eye .This definetly needs an eye examination
