i notice when i urine theres a red string like something floating in it it does not come apart it just floats in my urine what is it?

This is no doubt a blood clot. In the urine, since it comes through the tube of the urethra, clots will often take an elongated shape.

Urinary blood could come from three sources:
Ureter (that connects the kidneys to the bladder)

There could be a number of diseases:
Diseases of the bladder, like prostate enlargement, bladder infections, polyps, tumours.
Diseases of the ureters like calculi, polyps.
Diseases of the kidney like nepritis, renal stones, tumours.

You need to get yourself checked up for this. Preferably you should approach a Urologist. You will need tests like urine tests, culture, Ultrasound of the kidney, etc.
