How long do you have to fast before a physical

Customer Question

I have a physical in 24 hours, when can I not have anything more to eat or drink?

If you are having a standard physical with your doctor, you don't need to fast. Unless, you are planning to go right after to get blood work done. Most standard blood work is at least 8 hours of fasting. General rule of thumb, no eating after midnight.
