What is a hydro-scan?

Hida Scan is used to examine gallbladder and bile ducts. A radioactive material injected to your vein. It goes to the liver and from there it goes to the hepatic duct and from hepatic ducts to the gallbladder, and from there to the common bile duct; then to the small bowel in normal person.
