can a tampon get pushed into the cervixand uterus

i am not sure that i removed a tampon before intercourse and am scared that it might be lodged into my cervix

The opening of the cervix is too small except just prior to childbirth to accomodate anything the size of a tampon. There is no way that intercourse could push it into your cervix. Relax. You evidently took it out beforehand.

I am absolutely sure. The cervical canal is smaller than the lead of a pencil. If anything so large as a tampon attempted entry you would be screaming in agony.
