My daughter woke up several times last night and had her arms raised perpendicular to her body. She does have fibromyalgia.

Hi.

Is she 39?

Yes, my daughter is 39

Hi.

Is this happning on a regular basis?

Was she distressed by it?

Customer: replied 10 years ago.
It happened last night for the first time that she knows of anyway. She thought it was weird and yes, it distressed her. It seems like at one time I heard of this as a response to a brain injury and, although I didn't tell her that, it worries me.

Is she on any medication at present?

AI

Customer: replied 10 years ago.
Yes, she is on a sleeping medication, anti depressant and, I think, maybe another one for her fibromyalgia. She does have a pain killer but takes it only when her pain is very bad. But she has been on various medications for the last 15 years when she first got this fibromyalgia.

Hi.

To be honest I do not think there is anything to be concerned about here.

The symptoms are NOT consistent with any serious brain pathology or disease.

Most likley she has had a vivid dreams - partly due to the meds she is on.

If the problem persists it would be worth reviewing her meds with her own Dr.
