What would cause a vibrating sensation in my hip-groin ...

Resolved Question:

What would cause a vibrating sensation in my hip-groin area. When this first started I thought my cell phone was ringing on vibrate. I took my phone off (it was not ringing) and the sensation still continued. I am having this sensation as I am sitting here now.

Are you having any pain?

How long has this been going on?

Any other symptoms that seem abnormal?

Reply to James's Post: No pain, just the vibrating sensation.

Its been going on for a little over a week!

No other symptoms of any kind.

I have heard of this problem before but the answers were very vague. Some say that this could be the sign of a urinary tract infection, damaged nerves, or damaged nerves in the lower back. I recommend that you see a doctor for a urine test and possibly blood tests to check for abnormalities. I have added a link to a forum with people who have similar symptoms:
