While I've never heard of "primpex", trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole are a very common antibiotic combination (known by the popular brand name "bactrim"). Bactrim can be used for a number of things, including: urinary tract infections, ear infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia among other things.
