Hello, An ice pack placed on the side of your face where the extraction was done for 15-30 minutes and then left off for a few minutes and repeated 15-30 minutes with the ice pack again. Alternate on and off throughout the day until swelling begins to go down. Extracted teeth will cause swelling and sometimes they won't. When they do, ice packs are usually the best course for bleeding and swelling. Remember it takes time for the swelling to go down. If I can be of further help, please don't hesitate to contact me.
