Hello,

The bloating can be attributed to your period. Are you experiencing any indigestion, pain or heartburn?

You may be developing the flu, as you stated you are also experience body aches, fever and chills.

Reply to Deborah's Post: the bloating and tenderness is high up on the
abdomen, not down low--it's located just below
the rib cage. the female says this is not typical of her periods

Are you experiencing any abdominal pain, nausea?
Customer: replied 10 years ago.
Reply to Deborah's Post: no nausea, but the tenderness and excessive bloating is very uncomfortable

Sorry for all the questions.

Are you experiencing any gas pains with this?
When was the last time you had a bowel movement?

I am wondering if you may have an intestinal obstruction.

I would suggest making an appointment with a gastroenterologist (stomach specialist) If you are so uncomfortable and can not wait until tomorrow, you could go to the ER.
