Generally I advise to eat lightly the day before the scope. I have patients start the prep at 4pm and take only clear liquids at that point. If you ate solid food and are getting ready to start your prep - it should be ok as long as you keep to clear liquids from now on. YOur prep will begin to kick in after several hours of drinking the liquid - you should have alot of bowel movements, passing ultimately liquid toward the end. Chanceds are good that what you have eaten will not affect the prep as long as you don't eat solid food after this point.
best wishes with your procedure
