Hi,
There can be many causes of small circumscribed low attenuation foci like abscesses (pus collection), tumors, lymphadenopathy etc. The finding of the CT scan ahs to be corelated with the symptoms. Also it is necessary to know the location of the foci on the CT scan. To determine the exact cause a combination of other daignostic tests maybe required like biopsy of the lesion or needle aspiration
