Although some are more sensitive than others -- Home Pregnancy Tests are said to be 97% accurate after 14 days.

If you want a more definitive answer -- get a blood test for pregnancy from your Doctor.

The feedback comment that you posted indicates that you would like some
additional information. I will gladly attempt to provide it.

The last part of your questions says: 'Is my hcg still low?'

I interpreted that part of your question to mean: 'Is it possible that
I am pregnant, but I am still getting negative pregnancy tests because it is
still too early in the pregnancy for the hcg level to the high
enough for the tests to give a positive reading?'

Since you did not provide a possible date of conception in your question -- I provided information which would enable you
to determine whether enough time had passed since your possible
conception date for the home pregnancy test to give a valid reading.

In other words, a home pregnancy test taken two weeks or longer after
you're possible date of conception should give you a correct indication
of whether or not you are pregnant.

I also told you the next logical step to take if you're still unsure was to get a blood test for pregnancy from your doctor.

I apologize if I first answer was not clear enough. I hope this clears things up for you.

I am puzzled as to why you would accept my answer if you felt it was
incomplete, inadequate or unclear. I am also puzzled that you did
not choose to post a reply asking for a clarification or more
information -- rather than accepting my first answer.

Please post a reply if you still need more information.

Good luck!

Reply to Oreport's Post: my last monthly cycle was 4-19-05.the last time i had intercouse was 4-24-05 i am not stresed
i did not gain or lose wait i have never skipped
a cycle except when i got pregnant from my son.so if i am not pregnant what my be the problem?
Expert:  Steve -- a.k.a. Oreport replied 11 years ago.

Even if you have never skipped before -- there is a first time for
everything -- unfortunately, that doesn't mean that the reason is easy
to pinpoint.

Doctors call the absence of menstruation -- 'amenorrhea'. If a
woman has never menstruated it is called 'primary amenorrhea'. If
a woman stops menstruating is called 'secondary amenorrhea'.

Doctors do not give a diagnosis of secondary amenorrhea
unless a woman has not menstruated for at least six months. This
is another way of saying that an occasional missed period is very
common -- and I doubt that your doctor would consider this to be a
cause for worry -- even though you have never skipped a period before.

Please see your doctor if this continues to be a matter of concern for
you.

Good luck!
