Ask Your Health Question and Get an Answer ASAP
This can be caused by a lot of things and you definitely need to check it out.
It could be something as simple as you having taken aspirin (a known blood thinner) prior to surgery. Many antihistamines also have a blood thinning effect. Even some fruits and vegetables can cause this.
I suggest that you do see your family doctor to have your coagulation levels checked. This could be a problem for you and you will want to get a handle on it before you have more work performed.
Let me know if you still have questions. I am a person on coumadin (blood thinners) every day so I may have answers to your questions.
