I'm on antibiotics for an infected tooth....can I still take Nyquil?
Can you tell us what antibiotic you are taking?

Thank you.

Your pharmacy should have included a patient information sheet with
your antibiotics -- the medication container should have warning
stickers pointing out the most important things to avoid or remember
while on your medication.

If still in doubt, call your pharmacy.

As far as i know Nyquil should not be a problem.

By the way, if you don't have a cold and are only wanting to take
Nyquil to help you sleep, you might consider getting some benadryl
antihistamine tablets -- this will help you sleep with out un-needed
'exyra medication.  Benadryl is the active ingredient in many
non-prescription sleep medications.

Good Luck!

Thank you for your patience while I researched possible interactions.
Yes, it is safe. You can verify that by checking with your local pharmacist.
I also want to make sure, is that the only medication you are taking? If not, then you might need to check on those as well. It's best to be safe.

Take care, and hope this will help.

God bless!
