Magellan 9250t-lmb shuts off constantly. This has occurred for months
JA: What's the make/model of your GPS unit? How old is it?
Customer: 4 years old
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: The screen is working all is well and it shuts off turns black.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None yet I also need to upgrade maps and maybe that would help. I do not think I registered this product however.
JA: Is there anything else the GPS Technician should be aware of?
Customer: Can I still upgrade maps? No everything else works...until it shuts itself off

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your device.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) Does this turning off behavior happen when the device is connected to the vehicle power adapter AND the vehicle is IN MOTION? If so, does this also happen when the vehicle is NOT in motion?

2) Has the battery life of the device been TESTED recently - by fully charging the device and then running it ONLY from the charged battery?
