I boughtna GArnin years ago and gave it to a friend he needs it put in his name so he can get the maps updated etc
JA: What's the make/model of your GPS unit? How old is it?
Customer: He talked to Stacy and she said for him to have me call yoi since it is in my name
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It is about 5 or more years old
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?

1) Is "Stacy" a Garmin support person?

If so, did your friend give you the contact number for her?

I am. It happy with you answer please refund all of the 34 dollars you charged me. I also called the sheriffs office and filled out a report for fraud as you are not Garmin and intercept their calls somehow making me believe you sre Garmin. I called AE also put a block on you charge as it is a fraudulent charge I am not happy with according to your advertiznemt I can get full credit for all charges please do so immediately so no more trouble comes out of this situationSorry u could not help but I will call Garmin to get help
