1) What was the STATUS of your device BEFORE connecting to the computer? That is, does it still operate well, is the battery holding a charge, etc.?
2) Has this device EVER been connected to this computer SUCCESSFULLY - before this time?
3) Is the ORIGINAL USB cable being used to connect the device?
