My Nuvi 1490 is saying "No Map Data Available". How do I get it to work again?
JA: What model of Nuvi are you using? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: 1490 5 years
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing different. The last time I used it, it was fine.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Reinstalled the maps thru Garmin Express
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?

On the Nuvi go to settings, maps, map info.. Tell me what maps you see, and what map you have selected / checked currently?
