I have a Garmin I got in 2009 and I need to up date a map for the State of Arizona cities how do I do it?
JA: What is the exact model of your Garmin? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: itis is nuvi 30/40/50
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I asked how I up date my map of Arizona
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I just went on line and there are many sites saying they will up date Garmins for a fee I but the Maps
JA: Anything else you want the gps expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope just want to update my maps

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your device.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) Can you find the SERIAL NUMBER of the device and send it back here? I only ask so I can find the EXACT model of this device.

That model number MAY be on the bottom of the unit, inside an outlined box (remove mounting bracket to view).

2) What is the current operational status of the device (does it still work well, have a good battery life, etc.)?
