drivetrak keeps getting lost connection with alpha
JA: What's the make/model of your GPS unit? How old is it?
Customer: alpha 100 and drivetrak 70
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: not sure. I may have changed something on alpha accidently . system was working following dogs on both alpha and drivetrak concurrently. then drivetrak popped up lost connection with alpha and I don't know how to restore
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i am techinically cjhallenged. none
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?

First, if you haven't already done so, install the latest firmware version 5.90 on the Alpha:

If that doesn't improve the connection loss problem then the antenna on the Alpha unit may be failing -

try fitting a replacement antenna and let me know if that helps:
