Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your device.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The FULL Model Number of the device you are working with?
2) The AGE of the device?
3) WHEN this issue first began (or was noticed)?
4) Do you still work in electronics OR have contact with someone in the electronics field - such as a "rework/repair" person - that could make this repair for you (and does have the equipment to do the job)?
I only ask that last one because I have known so folks in the industry that I keep contact with that would do a "favor" for me and make such a repair, and that may be the fastest way to get the job done.
Otherwise, contacting the Golf Buddy support to see if it can be repaired (and the cost), would be the next logical step.
