Hello,I am the person that will be helping you today.
I am very familiar with this particular problem. Personally, I have owned a few GPS devices that have this problem. One way to work around the problem is to do the following:
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- Let go of the button.
- Wait 1/2 of a second and press and hold the button for 1 second.
- Wait 1/2 of a second press and release the power button quickly.
Please, do that once or twice to test it. Did that work each time?
The problem has to do with faulted capacitors on the mainboard of the device. The process that I described above will in effect, jumpstart the capacitors and allow them to function.
One quick note: This is my job; however, I only get credit for my time, if you rate my help with 3 Stars or more. I would prefer a 5 star rating, if you are satisfied. If you are not happy with my answer below, please let me know so we can continue.
I look forward to your next message below or your rating on the top of this page (choosing of number of Stars and clicking the Submit button)
Please, do not forget to rate my help on this page.
Thank you again, - Jason
