To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The FULL Model Number of the device you are working with? Is that an Approach S2?
2) Were the courses you mentioned on the previous device, and if so, what was the previous device?
3) HOW LONG have you been in this area and WHEN did this issue first begin (or was noticed)?

Also, when the device is put into golf mode, are ANY courses found in your current area?

I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved?
I only ask because I did check the Fort Sam Houston courses and they ARE listed as being available on this device. If that is the case, perhaps the device has not been used in a while OR needs to updates - to resolve this issue.
