Hi there,

My name is***** will try my best to help you with your question.

No pairing is necessary - simply plug in the traffic receiver cable and the Garmin device will recognize it.

Ok, locate the sticker affixed to the cord or the plug. This sticker should indicate whether the cable is a GTM receiver cable, a TA antenna cable, or a BC 30 receiver cable - please confirm what type it is?

You should also update the device and traffic receiver software using the Garmin Express program.

And check that you're using the device in a traffic coverage area.
