I just received an update for my NUVI 1390 unit. It is for a trip to Italy that we are planning. I have inserted the SD card but nothing is happening. What do I do next?

Have you tried turning the Garmin Nuvi device On, after having it Off for a few minutes, with the SD card inserted? that sometimes gets the updates onto the Garmin device automatically.
