Dodge charger 2013...navigation system...no detailed maps...just started was navigating just fine.
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: just noticed it this week
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: well...right now I have disconnected the batter cable for a bit and still waiting to re attach it...thats about it.

The map file in your Navteq GPS unit has become corrupted.. What you need to do is go to this page

Follow the steps to enter your unit ID ( it shows you how to find it on the above page )

Then, download a map update and follow the installation instructions to install that map update onto your GPS.
