Lets try a master reset on the astro first.. Heres how
Turn off the AstroPress Map, Enter and Power simultaneouslyWait for Astro to power onRelease PowerWait for the message Do you really want to erase all user data?Release remaining buttonsSelect YesAstro 220 or 320 is now reset. Leave the device outside with a clear view of the sky for a minimum of 20 minutes to acquire satellite data.
And if that doesnt fix the issue, then you will need to reinstall the map through basecamp, heres a guide on how to do so.

Did you select yes when you seen the reset question?
If so, after the unit switched off turn it on again. And then test.. Is the map working now?
Do you still get the same error?
ok, try again.. And keep trying till we can select yes, as that reset is definitely needed at this point.

It sounds like we cant reset the unit.. At the same time, I believe you mentioned that the device cant be detected by your computer.
