May I ask:
1) if the "emergency start" you mentioned appeared to actually happen when you tried?
2) Have you had the device OUTSIDE, and does it appear to be actually finding the satellite signals (or not)?
3) Do you have the USB cable for connecting the device to a computer?
4) What is the AGE of this device?
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved?
