I own a garmin gps 255W. While updating using the garmin the power went out for some time. When I went back to do the update, no luck. The GPS now tells me there are no maps to any of my requests. I am 79 and didn't want to do anything that might do wfuther damage. Need help. Can i fix the Garmin?

Turning your Garmin on and holding the bottom right while you turn it on will allow you to reset your data back to factory defaults.
