Magellan Roadmate 2220-LM not acquiring signal

My Magellan roadmate 2220lm is totally new and have never used it since I bought it and the problem is that it cannot acquire signal.

Try this first. Power it up and leave it outside - in your car window maybe, where it can see the sky. Give it a good 20 minutes.

Then let me know if it finds the satellites.

Tried it picked but can't change the current destination it's stuck on a California address as the current destination address.
