Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with your device.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:1) The FULL Model Number of the device you are working with?2) The AGE of the device?
3) Has the device been connected to the computer (successfully) in the past?4) WHEN this issue first began?
Hi again and thanks for that.
May I ask if you can find the SERIAL NUMBER on your device (usually on a sticker on the edge or back of the device), and send me the first few characters (4 should be enough)? I only ask because the number you sent (n14644) can apply to multiple models, and I can usually find the specific model from the serial number characters.
Also, when you last connected to a computer, were you using the SAME computer AND USB cable?
I only ask because the real issue will be that the computer can not "see" the device - to be able to communicate with it.
Its no trouble - I'm happy to help - if I can.
Do you not see a sticker or serial number on the device?
Here is a link from the TomTom site that may help locate that serial number.
Let me suggest that if you WERE/are using a different USB cable or computer, that you try different components or USB port - to see if you can isolate the issue to one of those (computer or cable).
And let me know if you have any more details or information or more questions about this issue.
Thanks, ***** *****
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved.
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
