Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with your GPS.
May I ask the AGE of your device and WHEN this issue first began?
May I also ask if you have replaced the battery (with a NEW battery) yet, and if so, WHEN was that done?
Thanks
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I've had it about 4 or 5 years, no I haven't replaced battery yet, the battery is a DECA lp-a10-06 3.7v...where would I find one?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It only started about 3 weeks ago, but it started doing it once in 18 holes no it does it every hole.

Hi again,
OK - anything over a couple of years old would be suspect for an "old battery" - that is wearing out.
I found one of these listed on Amazon, for a pretty good price and has good ratings. I have a link to that below.

You MAY find other batteries listed, but make sure you check the ratings. You may also be able to find one of the batteries at a LOCAL pro shop or sporting goods store that carries the Golf Buddy brand units.
Please let me know what you find or if you have any other questions.
Thanks, ***** *****
