Hello my name is***** and I would be happy to assist you.
Your antivirus might just be overly sensitive. Have you tried disabling the antivirus for a short period of time? You can access the antivirus settings by right clicking the icon at the bottom right of the screen and selecting to disable protection. The menu will be different depending on which antivirus software you are using, but you should see the option.

But How do I Get My Updates?
Expert:  Chris R. replied 1 year ago.
Did you purchase a map update?

I didn't get to do anything< no Do You Have to pay to get all this?
Expert:  Chris R. replied 1 year ago.
For regular system updates that does not cost anything. For major map updates you need to purchase them or already have a subscription.
I would install the Garmin Express software onto your computer if you have not done so already. Please go to
www.garmin.com/express to download it. You can use this software to download updates. It walks you through everything.
Let me know how you make out with this.
