Customer Question

Hi Folks,
I just upgraded my Garmin Express in order to update my 405.
Now when I try to run the software on my Mac it gives me the message "OtherVersionRunningHeader" and will not open the application.
Any ideas what I should try?
Thanks,
Greg

Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
That sounds to me as if you upgraded poorly and the software is 'seeing it' as if it were two different versions of the software existing simultaneously.
Try disconnecting the Garmin 405 device, before doing anything else, and try restarting the computer too, not just the software.
And, try this too:
1: uninstall Garmin Express on your Apple computer.
2: restart the computer.
3: reinstall Garmin Express for Apple by going to
http://software.garmin.com/en-GB/express.html
and download it from the
Download For Mac
link, then install that entirely fresh (up-to-date, hopefully) version of it on your Apple computer.
I hope that solves the problem, and feel fairly sure that it will. Please let me know how it goes. Thanks.
