by foot to reach stream, have compared your Garmin nuvi 3590 LMT, is there anything
better to reach my destination & return?

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
That sounds like quite an adventure.
The Nuvi series of devices are MAINLY used for "automotive" purposes, and should get you to and from the areas that are close to roads, but they are not really designed for LONG battery life OR "hiking" type activities.
Have you looked into the "hiking" units that Garmin has?
