Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with your device.
May I ask if you can RE-VERIFY the MODEL of your device?
I only ask because MOST Garmin WATCHES have model numbers that start with "S", and the larger HANDHELD devices start with "G".
Thanks

Hi again,
I see it has been a while and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved.
If I assume this is an "S3" watch, I can give you a couple of "reset" procedures to try - to see if you can get the device to operate again.
When you try these resets, leave the watch ON - OUTSIDE - and let it search for the satellite signals for AT LEAST 20 minutes.
And try the SOFT reset first, and if the signals do not lock on within about 20-30 minutes, then try the "MASTER" reset.
To Soft Reset the Approach:
=======================
- Press and hold Light/Power
- Wait until screen goes blank (approximately 10 seconds)
- Release Light/Power
- Press and hold Light/Power
- When the device powers on, release Light/Power
The Approach will now restart. If the device is still unresponsive, connect the watch to the computer and then follow the above steps again.
=======================
To Master Reset the Approach (S3):
===========================
- Power off device
- Press and hold Score
- Press the Power button
- Select Yes when prompted "Clear user data?" (all buttons may be released at this time)
The device should now be reset to default factory settings, and the device should function as expected
===========================
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
