Hello! My name is XXXXX XXXXX X am happy to be working with you today. Let's see if we can get your problem resolved!

Sometimes the system software can 'hijack' the battery and prevent it from booting. Reload the system software by sliding and holding the power switch for 30 seconds. The GPS should come back online within 3 minutes. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Try a hard boot. (Remove any cases first)

Plug the GPS into the charger for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes and while still plugged in, hold down the power switch for one minute. Allow 3 minutes afterward for the GPS to reboot.
