Hello my name is XXXXXX. X look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible. Have you tried using a different cable to connect it to the computer?
Read my query, mr automated response!
This is what I got originally: "brand new device not recognized by computer. downloaded necessary drivers, plugins, etc. Picture of device plugged into desktop shows on device when plugged in, but nowhere to be found in My Computer, Device Manager, Disk Management"The parenthesis were not showing before most likely due to a bug with the site. They are now, however since you think I am "automated" I will be opting out and leaving this for all other experts. Good Luck!
Well, it sounds like your GPS is communicating correctly with your computer(s).
And you've probably installed your My Dashboard onto the computer(s) and registered your GPS, opened an account too.....

Have you tried to install an SD card into your unit for additional space? The reason is, that the Dashboard and computer would recognize that as an added Drive, and it would indicate the computer could read the added drive.
We know the GPS "sees" the computer, but does the computer "see" the GPS ? And if it does....does it need to "See" a drive/SD card mounted ?
