Name: Sally J XXXXXX Garmin: 1300, purchased in MI on a trip and registered there. Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Cannot get GPS to accept any address I try to put in and we are leaving on a long trip on Friday. Can you help. Tell me what to do.

Already Tried:
I've tried to enter sveral addreses- no joy. I've also tried to upload a update - no joy I have it pluged into my computr now.

Can you tell me the AGE of your unit and when this issue first began?

Also, when you turn the unit on and go to the main map screen, can the unit show your current location?

GPS is a 1300 bought 2 yrs ago. Worked fine until today when I tried to put a Washington address in favorites. No Joy. Then I tried to put in the zip code because it wouldn't accept WA. No Joy.
