purchased a nuvi 2505 series to-day ,made a n error whilst i set in french, how do i rectify to english

Already Tried:
ihave switching it off, pressed the reset button for ten seconds,still in french

Hi there and welcome to Just Answer. I'm Steve. Thanks for asking your question. I'm sorry to hear about your GPS.

Ok. From the main page, click on the Wrench (this is 'Tools' although it may be in French).

Then, click on the cogged wheel/gear icon (this is 'Settings').

Then on the next page look for an icon of a pair of red lips (this is Languages).

You will have three options: Voice, Map Text and Keyboard - again, it may be in French. Change them all to English. Then back out and reboot.

That should do it for you.
