I have a Garmin 2595LMT and cannot hear the bluetooth volume. I found a link that brought me to your site. I contacted Garmin about the problem only to recieve really no help..................HELP!
Already Tried: Garmin and a good tech at Verizon wireless as Garmin said that my cell phone controled the bluetooth volume. Notta good answer.
Hi there and welcome to Just Answer. I'm Steve. Thanks for asking your question. I'm sorry to hear about your GPS.
What phone are you trying to pair with the Nuvi?
A Motorola V860
There is a known issue with Bluetooth pairing on this Garmin and others in the 29xx series.
What I would do is make sure the unit has the latest firmware.
Plug the Nuvi into your PC and then go here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27
Download the Webupdater program to your PC and then run it. DOwnload any available software updates.
Let me know if that fixes the issue.

I have already gone the route of downloading the latest upgrade with Garmin. I want to know if there is any other answer than Garmin, I was clear they were no help. The site that linked me to you is my last ditch effort. I' ll pay the fee gladly if the problem can be resloved. I am handicapped and its against the law to talk on a cellphone in California while operating a moter vehicle. I hope you can help me. Byron
Unfortunately, there is nothing else that can be done.
As I said previously, this is a known problem with this Nuvi - a quick Google search will reveal that many others have this same problem.
I don't have any other solution for you. I'm sorry.
I have a hard time with your answer. I just went back to Google to the Just Answer site and if you read your add it reads that Just Answer has the answer to this common
question. I don't want to see you not get compensated but I feel that Just answer is not fair in their advertising that they have the answer if I am willing to pay.
I am sure you'all don't like my answer but I want a fair transaction.
Thank You
Sir, you are under no obligation to accept me answer but what I am telling you is that there is no real fix for your issue. The bluetooth volume on the 2595 is low.
What you can try is go into the Audio Mixer (in Tools) and turn the Nav volume down to say 50% and Bluetooth up to 100%.
Give that a try.
Let me know.
I don't want the free trial offer. I'll pay the fee for the answer that is no answer to be done with this. Your answer is not a fix. Include in your reply what I am paying for and how much I am paying.
Sir, I have no idea about offers and subscriptions. I am simply one of the experts here.
I will forward your billing issue to the correct person.
If you have tried messing with the audio mixer to try and bring up the level of the Bluetooth, and that doesn't work, that is all that Garmin have provided in this area. There is no other fix.
I am sorry but I am just being honest with you.
Good luck.
