Today I purchased the Garmin unlimited map updates for my Nuvi 1350T. I went through the screens to download, but when it came to the screen that says "Scanning for Devices.........Gathering Information (this may take several seconds)". It was still gathering info after an hour, so I started over. It is still gathering information after another hour. Is this normal? I have never gotten to the download now screen -

Alright there is an alternate method that may work for you. Click Here to download the desktop application. Install and run the program, it will automatically detect your unit and its lifetime subscription. If updates are available it will let you know. I also recommend disabling antivirus and firewall as they interfere with the downloads at times.
